Most calendar advice is written for a Monday-to-Friday, 9-to-5 family. That's not what shift workers have. They fit a 4-, 6-, or 8-week cycle that repeats forever.

When Sarah got her next quarter's shifts, she didn't have to sit down with Jordan and renegotiate every pickup. The rotation absorbed it.
