Delete your FamilyBoard account

Language: Both English and Swedish below. Both options describe the same process — pick the language you prefer.

You can delete your FamilyBoard account and all associated data at any time, either directly from the app or by submitting a request via email.

Option 1 — Delete in the app

1. Open FamilyBoard on your phone.
2. Go to Settings → Account → Delete my account.
3. Confirm in the dialog. Your account and all data will be deleted immediately.

Option 2 — Request deletion via email

If you no longer have access to the app, send an email to support@familyboard.io with the subject line "Account deletion request" and the email address tied to your account.

We will delete the account within 30 days of receiving the request and confirm via email when it's complete.

What gets deleted?

When you delete your account, the following are permanently removed:

• Your user account (email, name, profile).
• Families you created (if you're the sole owner). Families you're a member of without owner responsibility are unaffected.
• All events, lists, documents, and inbox messages tied to your account.
• Photos uploaded for AI extraction (auto-deleted on processing; any remaining will be removed).
• Push tokens for notifications.

What gets retained?

Anonymized system logs (without personal data) are kept for up to 90 days for security and performance diagnostics, then permanently deleted. Backups are purged within 180 days.

Du kan radera ditt FamilyBoard-konto och all tillhörande data när som helst, antingen direkt i appen eller genom att skicka en begäran via e-post.

Alternativ 1 — Radera i appen

1. Öppna FamilyBoard på din telefon.
2. Gå till Inställningar → Konto → Radera mitt konto.
3. Bekräfta i dialogrutan. Ditt konto och all data raderas omedelbart.

Alternativ 2 — Begär radering via e-post

Om du inte längre har tillgång till appen, skicka ett mejl till support@familyboard.io med ämnesraden "Begäran om kontoradering" och e-postadressen som är kopplad till ditt konto.

Vi raderar kontot inom 30 dagar efter mottagen begäran och bekräftar via e-post när det är klart.

Vad raderas?

• Familjer du skapat (om du är ensam ägare). Familjer du är medlem i utan ägaransvar berörs inte.
• Alla händelser, listor, dokument och inbox-meddelanden kopplade till ditt konto.
• Foton uppladdade för AI-extraktion (raderas automatiskt vid bearbetning, men eventuella kvarvarande tas bort).
• Push-token för aviseringar.

Vad lagras kvar?

Anonymiserade systemloggar (utan personuppgifter) sparas i upp till 90 dagar för säkerhets- och prestandadiagnos, sedan raderas även dessa permanent. Backuper rensas inom 180 dagar.
